Now here’s a DAVE’S OASIS exclusive innerview with © Linda Fox:
DAVE: Tell me Linny, can I call you Linny? Tell me why you’re not fully famous yet?
© LF: Well I guess it’s just way harder to get fully famous than I expected. I personally thought all I had to do was churn out a really great album each year, maybe put out some kind of unique and prescient video content along the way, but there’s actually way more to it than that.
DAVE: Like what? Tell us what kinds of things get someone fully famous these days.
© LF: Well I guess if I knew the answer to that then I wouldn’t be innerviewing myself on my own dang website. My best guess is that you’ve gotta really deserve it. You’ve got to tell a story that no one has ever heard before, and that story has to let people see the world in new ways. Because all we have are stories. And all we want is to experience the world beyond the stories. So I think to be truly great (famous) you’ve gotta give the world a new story that’s so unique that they (the world) think they’re finally beyond stories, they think they’re experiencing “reality”.
DAVE: Interesting. Is that where the expression “rascal’s dilemma” comes from?
© LF: I guess it could be yeah.
DAVE: Can you give our readers an example of a “rascal’s dilemma”?
© LF: Well I guess the classic example is when someone discovers the truth about why there is life in the Universe, but nested within that truth is a second truth, which is that if the first truth gets out into the world it will lead to the certain demise of all life in the Universe. A situation like this is generally called a “rascals dilemma”.
DAVE: Last question here: Do you really believe that “up in the sky there is a surface that you can break through if someone can listen to the message in the algorithm”?
© LF: I do believe that yes. And with the help of Pulsum I intend to tell the whole dang world to keep an eye out for that message. I figure if we get the whole world on board we can break through that stupid dome and finally experience Tru Reality.
DAVE: © Linda Fox’s new album Dance Like Nobody’s Watching is out where ever you want it to be. And trust me, it tells the true story of reality like you’ve never heard it told before.
© LF: Thanks so much for having me in your OASIS today.
