viewers of the film are not subject to the ban since the ban does not extend beyond
the boundaries of the fictional world of the film (this is because the No Meditating
bylaw is enforced through ticketing and the money used by the characters in the film
is not equivalent to the money used by viewers of the film so there is no way to enforce
the ban upon viewers via monetary fines).

While recuperating from cosmetic surgery, an actor decides to stop in Ashcroft, a
small town in the interior of British Columbia. Once within the boundaries of
this
strange micro climate, it becomes clear that Ashcroft is not a place of
passive
rest,
but rather an intoxicating playground for excavation and manipulation.
